Well, well, well

Looky what I found!
I stumbled upon an old class kit of mine as I was looking for more adhesive in my scraproom.
{yes, the scraproom is a total disaster!}
Class kit=easy scrapping!
I added a couple of things to the original design but the hardest part was already done for me.
Supplies: Patterned paper (KI Memories, American Crafts), Brads (Little Yellow Bicycle), Alphas (Doodlebug), Star die cuts (Sizzix), Scalloped border (Accucut), Bookplate ??
So day 3 is in the books people!
And I am on a roll!

Day 2...check!

I kept this one way simple!
All it took was a couple of pics, a grid, 2 journaling blocks, a few embellies, and 1 hour.
And I even checked Facebook a couple of times in the process!
Supplies: Patterned paper, rub-ons, journaling blocks, chipboard embellishment, border sticker (Little Yellow Bicycle Snugglebug line), Alphabet stickers (Making Memories), Brads (American Crafts)
Catch you tomorrow!

A layout a day for a week

Have I mentioned that I am working on a baby book for my friend/freshman year neighbor/PT school roommate??
{i mean, she put up with alot-this is the least i can do}
Well I have been sitting on these pictures since October, so I have got to get my lazy butt in gear & get to work on this thing!
So I am giving myself a little challenge!
I am going to try to make 1 layout a day for the next 7 days.
{and that is pretty good for me because i don't normally get alot of scrapping done during the work week}
I might be pulling out some sketches & doing some scraplifting over the next week!
And I've got a bunch of the new Snugglebug line from Little Yellow Bicycle that I am excited to use!
Since I decided to issue myself this challenge at about 8:30 tonight, I had to make today's layout a super quick one.
So I took this layout that I did a while ago & scraplifted it to come up with something different.

Supplies: Patterned paper, chipboard embellishments, buttons (Little Yellow Bicycle), Die cut title & nesting circles (Quickutz)

Here is the new layout!

Supplies: Patterned paper, chipboard embellishments, journaling circles, rub-ons, stickers (Little Yellow Bicycle), "B" alpha sticker (Making Memories)
Ain't he a little cutie!??!
OK that is 1 day down, 1 layout completed!
Go me!

Ode to spring break

Oh to be young again!
This week's Focus On over on the KI blog is Spring Break.
Well this girl has not had a "spring break" (so to speak) in way too many years.
So I thought I would probably just skip this Focus On and do the next one.
Then I got to thinking.
{and that can be trouble}
Oh I have so many found memories from spring breaks many years ago!
Destin, Panama City, Disney World, Bahama cruise, etc.
So I decided I should do a layout about spring break as a 32 year old with no kiddos.
It's my Ode to Spring Break 2010!
Supplies: Patterned paper, chipboard embellishments, brads, glitter alphas, flower rub-on (all KI Memories)
Have a great weekend friends!

I've got a post up on the Kenner Road blog today.
I made another card with this month's kit.

And I took this layout and flipped it on its side to come up with a different layout.
Here's a little peek of it!

Now go to the Kenner Road blog to see the whole thing and tell me what you think!

Have you seen the new Fresh Print Clothesline stuff
from Little Yellow Bicycle??!
This was one of my favorite new lines at CHA!
The colors and patterns are just delicious!
I've made a couple of cards with it already
but I've got more projects in mind!
Sorry it is not here.
But it is being

My Little Shoebox

I got to work with the cute Just Add Butter line from
My Little Shoebox this month.
The cupcakes and bright colors in this line just screamed birthday to me!
So I cut out a bunch of the cupcakes & made this little birthday set
(gift bag, card, and gift card holder).
I found the gift bag on a clearance aisle at Target for 67 cents! I cut the gift card holder out of white cardstock using an Accucut machine.
Then I cut a strip of patterned paper to wrap around it
and slip on & off of it.

And apparently I couldn't stop cutting out cupcakes so I made this layout.
Happy 1st birthday Bryson!! Thanks for looking!!

The KI team is going green this week in celebration of St. Patrick's Day!
So today's Focus On over on the KI blog is GREEN!
I chose to keep it simple this time and just use a bunch of green on my page.
Since green is quickly closing in on red as my favorite color, this was fun!

{Cardstock, patterned paper, chipboard letters, flair, brads, & chipboard bookplate are all KI Memories}
This little cutie pie belongs to my friend Lindsay.
I am working on a book for Bryce's first year so you may be seeing alot of him in the near future. :)
I am pretty pumped about this announcement that was made this morning!
Whoop whoop!
That will be fun!
And HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my baby brother!!
Good grief the little runt is 25 now!
Wasn't it just yesterday that he was carrying around Huggie, watching Lady & the Tramp daily, and throwing whiny temper tantrums on the tennis court even though the racket was bigger than him at the time??
Time flies.
I think I will go meet him for dinner!
Happy weekend friends!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

I hope you have some good luck 'o the Irish today!
{or at least don't get pinched for not wearing green}
I have shared these cards before
(using the Little Yellow Bicycle Lucky Me line),
but I thought they were appropriate for the day!
Have a good one!

And wearing a tiara is not an easy task.
I am beat!
But I will be back soon.
Because now I am itching to make something!

to the hybrid cards that is!
Seriously I feel like I have endless supplies of pretty patterned paper!
{my printer ink might be taking a hit but eh what's a little ink when it can ultimately create lovely papers??!!?}
So I printed out some more of the Honeychurch patterned papers, combined them with some of the stuff I have left over from my February Kenner Road kit, and made a couple more things.
I made this next one for a girl at work having a baby boy soon.
{it's not tooo girly is it?? i could not resist punching some butterflies out of my scraps!}
Alrighty, that is all I've got for now!
But I do have a lovely new Kenner Road kit & a box of the newest releases from My Little Shoebox sitting on my floor waiting to be torn into!
It will all have to wait for a few days, though, as I will be running around here this weekend!
Happy weekend!

{don't forget to check out the contest/giveaway links in the previous post!}

For your entertainment

Picture of the day, March 2nd
This is my I-started-to-get-ready-to-the-gym-but-I-wimped-out-because-it-was-yucky-outside-and-warm-inside-so-I-am-still-wearing-my-grandma-sweater-as-Lee-calls-it-while-I-vacuum-the-stairs-instead outfit.
Once again, this is totally normal around my house.
Poor Lee.
