Some cards & a giveaway update!

I've got a couple more Bella Blvd cards to share today.
I made both of these for CHA and they have been up on the Bella Blvd blog recently.

I made this "save the date" card using the new "Engaged at Last" line.

And I made this friendly card using the fun new "Sand and Surf" line.

I do love hand-cutting flowers out of patterned paper!

Crochet hearts

Nightrider

Happy Monday!

I did a little scrapping over the weekend. 

I have been wanting to scrap this picture of my first night mountain bike ride for a while now.

So I pulled out some of the "Too Cute to Spook" line from Bella Blvd {mostly bc I thought this cloudy patterned paper would be perfect for this layout!} and some new stamps from My Favorite Things designed by the fabulous Laina Lamb.

And this is what I made...

Yes, I did a lot of handcutting!
I cut several clouds out of a separate sheet of the patterned paper and added them with foam adhesive to give the page lots of dimension.

And I stamped too!

Go me!

This is just one of the stamps I used (designed by Laina Lamb for My Favorite Things). 

And here is another one!

These stamps come from sets that are full of many other cool stamps.

How cool, right?!

Sand and Surf

Man I sure could go for a little sand and surf right now!

I think it has been nasty rainy and/or cold here for the past 3 weeks.
UGH!!

But until spring gets here, I will settle for the
oh-so-fun "Sand and Surf" line from Bella Blvd!

This line just makes me want to take a vacation!

There are all kinds of "Sand and Surf" projects over on the Bella Blvd blog today.

Here is a little "missing you" card I made with the new line.

Yep, I hand cut all those clouds and the sunshine!

Just keeping my scissors toned up during these cold winter months.

Tapes!!

Yesterday was all about tapes over on the Bella Blvd blog.

I am not afraid to admit it:

I am loving the tape trend lately!!

Do you remember the Heidi Swapp tapes from several years ago?

Well, I loved those tapes.

I have a secret stash of them that I will probably never ever use for fear that I will use them all up and they will be gone forever.

:)

So of course I was stoked when the whole washi tape trend hit papercrafting!

Maybe I shouldn't get rid of these Birkenstocks I've been holding onto for years now because they might come back in style soon after all!

Anyway, there are all kinds of projects over on the Bella Blvd blog today using their fabulous designer tapes.

Friendly layout to share

Morning!

I've got a layout to share today.

I've been making a lot of cards lately but layouts are still my first love.

I made this one using the oh-so-fun-and-cool

"Flashback" line from KI Memories!!

I'm on a

punched-circles-to-make-a-scalloped-border kick

lately!

Still loving the KI washi tape!

And this "smile" tape might be my favorite!

Feathers

Over on the Bella Blvd blog it is all about feathers today!

Staying ahead of the trends, Bella has come out with a line of feathers in a variety of colors that are a perfect addition to your crafting projects!

Here are a couple cards that I made using the feathers.

I've combined the feathers with the new "Engaged at Last" line also from Bella Blvd on both of these cards. 

Very sassy and fun, don't you think??!

Endless Inspiration

The next couple of weeks are going to be full of "Endless Inspiration" over on the Bella Blvd blog featuring all the new products!

Today's feature is the gorgeous and kind of sassy
"Engaged at Last" line!

I had so much fun making cards with this line!!

But this line is not just sassy and girly!
There is also a nice twist to it that includes manly colors & patterns for the bachelor too!

Creative Spaces!!

Oh this is exciting!

The second volume of Creative Spaces from Creating Keepsakes is on sale now!!

And I got to be a part of it!
That is pretty exciting to me since my scrap space is really pretty small and not at all elaborate.

It started off as some unfinished attic space off of our bedroom that my husband added walls and a floor to.
He left the painting and decorating to me!
Here are a couple pics of my space that you don't get to see in the magazine.
This is a wooden CD shelf that I saved from the trash and painted white.
It's a great place to store lots of small things.
And one of my favorite things about my room is all the little containers that I have collected over time from the Target dollar spot!
Let's see...there are 15 of them in this pic if you count the one over on the left barely making it into the photo!

And here is a closer look at a couple of racks that I managed to acquire when a local scrapbook store here closed.

The closing was sad but I love what I was able to get my hands on!

I love that my small, cozy, oddly shaped space got featured.

Maybe it will help some of you be able to maximize some little space in your house!

New Sophisticates!!

It's the last day of Bella Blvd sneaks!

Kind of sad, I know, but I am pumped about all the new stuff!
