Cards on Thursdays + another fun GIVEAWAY!!

Hey hey!!

OK I have something fun to share today!
{and i have one to giveaway too}

Creative Memories has a cool new stamping system!

And let me tell you...I am NOT a stamper!

I've always just thought it was too much work.

But this little system I can do!

It is super easy!!

And it stamps so nice & crisp!

This is the basic system that comes with a black ink pad and a cute little "hello" stamp.

Here is a card I made using the Reflections line and the cute "hello" stamp that comes with the basic Stamper System.

There are 4 fun sets of stamps that you can get to use with the stamping system.

This is the "Birthday Wishes" stamp set.

This next one is called "Be Young".

Here is a fun one called "For Her".

And if there is a "For Her" set there has to be a "For Him" set too!

Happy Friday good people!

And welcome to the long holiday weekend!
Before I head out on a mountain biking trip {my first one!} I have a  couple of layouts to share.
I made both of these with the May kit from Midnight Rooster.

I took advantage of a free 8x10 offer from Walgreens a couple weeks ago & printed this picture I took at one of the highest points at Oak Mountain {which is where I do most of my local mountain biking...the trail system is awesome!}.

This picture is actually looking back down a part of the trail called Red Road.

And it is not actually the best scenic view in the park.

There are much prettier places.

Red Road is a 2.5 mile rocky, torturous uphill climb.
I hate it.

But I love it when I conquer it and get to the top!

That is a great feeling!

Now this next layout is of my friend Lindsay's babies and their 2 grandmothers.

I got a little scissor happy and cut all those flowers out of a sheet of October Afternoon patterned paper.

I mean, who needs fancy embellishments when you can just cut your own out of pretty paper!

Summer Wind

I am lucky enough to already have my June kit from Noel Mignon!

This one is called "Summer Wind" and it is packed full of all kinds of goodies!
There are products from My Mind's Eye,

Pink Paislee, Hambly (**sniff**sniff** that they are going out of business),

American Crafts, Queen & Co., We R Memory Keepers, etc.
Fun stuff!!

Here is a picture of "Summer Wind" that completely does NOT do it justice!

Trust me...this is a great kit!
I've made a couple of things already and I hope to get a chance to dive into it a little more over this long holiday weekend!

Here is a pretty simple layout about the minor league baseball games that my husband & I go to on Thursday nights in the summer and fall.

The Thickers in this kit are raw chipboard and a super fun font.

I just kept them raw and used them as is...no ink or paint or anything!

And I like them that way!

Here is a fun card using mostly Pink Paislee stickers and patterned paper from the kit.

Priorities

It is "Flower Week" over on the Pebbles blog!

I will admit that I have been hoarding 3 packs of the super cute chipboard flowers from the Fresh Goods collection.

It took "Flower Week" to finally get me to use them!

I used those chipboard flowers to embellish this layout.

And then because I thought it needed just a few more flowers

(I mean, can you really ever have too many??!)

I cut a few small flowers out of the "All Mine" patterned paper from the With Love collection to add also.

Making cards with Primrose Lane!

I am still working through my Primrose Lane kit from Noel Mignon.
One of my favorite sheets of paper in the kit is this fun piece from Echo Park.

When you cut this sheet up, the individual pieces are perfect for cards!

So I used it to whip up a couple of quick ones...

Happy birthday!!

Yesterday was "Cards on Thursdays" over on the Bella Blvd blog.
And I had a couple of cards up!
Always in need of extra birthday cards in my stash, I whipped up a couple using the new Baby Girl line.

I mean obviously the Baby Girl line is perfect for all your girly layouts and projects.

But who would have thought it would be so great for birthday stuff!?
This line has all kinds of cupcakes in it (paper, stickers, chipboard) that are actually perfect for birthdays!

So there you have 'em!
