SO FUN!!!

{i dig this time of year!!}

Tribute to *the peeps*

I caught the scrapping bug late last night.

Stayed up way too late.

Will probably pay for it today.

But I made this.

Supplies: Patterned paper (Basic Grey-blue, Bella Blvd-all other), Chipboard alphas (American Crafts), Alphabet stickers (Doodlebug), Ribbon (American Crafts), "Friends" sticker (American Crafts), Brads (American Crafts & KI Memories), Pen (American Crafts)

Yes, this picture was from yesterday.
That is what I mean by "I caught the scrapping bug".

Brittney emailed me the picture last night.

I had been wanting to do a layout like this for awhile.

This was a near perfect picture for the page I had in mind {minus 1 important person though}.

And BAM! It's midnight but I can't resist pulling out the scrappy supplies!

:)
Now I'm off to round up some caffeine!
Happy Sunday!

Was his hair really that long??

Wow!

Check out the locks on my hubby!
How much has changed in 2 short years!

Supplies: Patterned paper (Basic Grey-blue, Scenic Route-striped), Chipboard letters (American Crafts), Brads (American Crafts), Journaling rub-on (Jenni Bowlin), Pen (American Crafts)
And this is why I scrapbook.

So that when he is old & bald, we can prove to our grandkids that, yes kiddos, Pawpaw did in fact have very good hair back in the old days!

I had totally forgotten about this layout until I got it back today along with a copy of this book that it is in.

I have already looked through it quickly once and it full of great ideas!
It has all kinds of ideas and layout inspiration for scrapping those events that happen every year: holidays, seasons, occasions (like birthdays & graduation), etc etc.

It's a very cool idea!
{you can get a copy on sale here}

Now I am going to see if I can talk Lee into growing his hair out again.

Halloween in July??

I mean, Christmas in July is pretty common.

But Halloween??

No way!

hehe

Oh I crack myself up sometimes!

Anyway, it is kind of like Halloween in July with these new Graphic 45 Halloween in Wonderland papers.
{i am new to all things Graphic 45 & i have to say that i am impressed!}
I made this layout for Scrapbook Mania using some of these cool papers!

Supplies: Patterned papers (Graphic 45), Ribbon & Chipboard letters (American Crafts)

Scrapbook Mania has all these papers and even more from this cool line.
Get them while you can!

And happy Halloween!!

P.S.
don't forget to be checking the KI blog this week as we celebrate America!

{of course there are prizes!}

I'd thank my lucky stars,

to be livin' here today.

‘Cause the flag still stands for freedom,

and they can't take that away.

And I'm proud to be an American,

where at least I know I'm free.

And I wont forget the men who died,

who gave that right to me.

And I gladly stand up,

next to you and defend her still today.

‘Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land,

God bless the USA.
