I usually make my own Christmas Cards...but this year due to my family imploding....I have only made them for challenges or class and sadly I won't be sending out cards this year....just easier!!

We have both. Our main tree is live (I wouldn't have it any other way.) and we have little fake decorated trees throughout the house.

Congrats to Lynne!
Both. We have a real tree in our frontroom and an artificial tree in our family room.

We have 2 and they are both artificial. I especially love my white tree. It is so pretty and girly and just makes me happy!!

Oh, it's a 'real' tree, alright, it just never was 'really' alive.
No needles, no watering, no mess. What can I say. Recycle, reduce, reuse. :)

I'm allergic to real trees! So sad and pathetic, I know! So, we have a fake tree, but I bought lots of Yankee Candles in the balsam scent, so it's almost like having the real thing. :)

Heather DG said...

I prefer real, but have succumbed to the fake because I like to leave my trees up for way too long after Christmas. My real one's were starting to become fire hazards ;)

We have an artificial one... although I prefer real!

I have a real artificial tree. I have my Grandmomma's 40 year old Christmas tree in the living room and a small 4' white tree in the hallway.

We've always had artificial trees.

Real trees rock, but for cost saving we use a good ol' fake tree!!!

I've never known anything other than an artificial tree.

Artificial, but would love to experience a live tree. I'll add it to my bucket list!

Either or! I don't have one at the moment, so I'd take whatever =)

Our son is allergic to real trees, so we have an artificial tree. Thanks for the inspiration! Cheers, Mary

Artificial, I really don't get how to deal with them.

fake tree... but I sure do miss the pine smell from a real one!

I'm not sure if you consider a tree constructed of twigs real or artificial, but we have one of those, a living one that will be transplated outside, and a small artificial one in the kids' bedroom.

I love real trees, but now I use a fake tree.

Kirby said...

real, but i came home today to it leaning forward and all manner of fragile, sentimental ornaments dangling precariously, a pool of water under the whole scene - ugh! i'm thinkin' next year, it'll be artificial w/ a pine scented candle! :)

Real, real, real!!!!

Scrapbookdoll said...

i have an artificial one, because of a little boy who is jumping around the house...

artificial ... so much easier!

Real 'tree'. Being from tropical Singapore, I improvise with the potted bougainvillea. They just about tolerate being in semi-shade on the porch for 5 weeks. Then the ornaments come down and it's back into the glorious sunshine.

we have had both and i have torn feelings on which way to go. i guess whatever happens that your
this year artificial, but a tiny one

Louise Dubord said...

This year artificial, but next year... I want a real one!

Artificial. We used to put up three trees, all needing lights. Now we're down to two, and they're pre-lit. I joke about how we'll soon go down to one, and then we'll go to a table-top tree, and then we'll have the little ceramic tree when the grandkids {hopefully} come visit us in the "home." I think we've got a ways to go, though. :)
